Tallow is a restaurant and wine bar on Marrow Lane with a table booking form, a private dining enquiry form and a gift card form on this website. This page explains what we collect when you use the site, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

  • Table bookings: your name, phone number, email, the night, time, party size, the table you picked and any note you leave, so we can keep the table and reach you if something changes.
  • Private dining enquiries: the same details plus the date, the number of guests, the room and the occasion.
  • Gift cards: the amount, who the card is for and from, your email and the line for the card.
  • Messages: what you write in the contact form, and your email so we can answer.
  • Usage data: pages viewed and rough location from your IP address, to see what people look for and fix what breaks.

Payments

No payment is taken on this website. Deposits and gift cards are paid through a payment link we send you, handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

We use your details to hold your table, to prepare a private dinner, to send a gift card and to answer your questions. We do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.

Who we share it with

A short list of services help us run the site: hosting, the form inbox, email delivery and analytics. Each handles your data only on our instructions. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

Booking details are kept for 12 months, then deleted, except invoices, which we keep as long as tax law requires. Messages are deleted after 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you. If you live in the EU or the UK you can also object to some processing and complain to your data protection authority.
